A matter of life and death

I think it is beyond question that at some point, a human embryo must be called alive while still in the womb. Whether that is at the point of conception as science tells us, or at the point of some sort of awareness, there is life there. A beating heart. A developing awareness. It is a prenatal human.
Birth is nothing more than the first of many transformations for this human. There will be puberty and the confusing teens. There will be adulthood and parenthood and menopause and death. All these started with conception.
We humans continue to develop as long as we live but we do more physical developing in our first nine months than in the rest of our lives. This rate of development does not make us less than human. It does not make us parasites. It makes us very young.
We count the days of our lives from the time of our birth, as if we somehow magically popped into being from nothingness, as if we had not been a developing human for nine months.
So, what to do with this knowledge as far as the prenatal human's right to life versus a woman's rights to choose what to do with her body?
If one looks at it coldly and unemotionally, without the influence of religious or secular law, the prenatal is losing the chance of eighty five or so years and the mother is losing nine months. It seems obvious that this young human must be given the chance to live.
And yet I do believe in a woman's right to choose what to do with her own body. I know that educating and empowering women, especially in third world countries where they are stuck in a cycle of breeding, is the most important thing we can do to eliminate poverty worldwide.
Women are not breeding machines. They must have the right to choose to abort a life within themselves.
And so I must sadly and begrudgingly count myself as pro choice.
But please, let's not belittle the lives that are ended by abortion. Let's not call them "parasites" or "not yet human" in an attempt to lessen or dismiss our own guilt or grief. To stop a heart from beating is to end a life and to end whatever that human may have been.
We humans can condition ourselves to believe all sorts of nonsense, like religions and Flat Earth ideas. But when it comes to taking an innocent life, let's not pretend it wasn't alive to feel better about ourselves.
If we have any interest in seeking truth in our lives, we must not lie to ourselves about death... because death makes life precious and only life makes death possible.

Enemy Of The State - book review

I've just finished reading Tommy Robinson's Enemy Of The State.
Wow!
Tommy is beset on all sides by Islam, SJWs, MSM, almost all politicians, and the police.
They knock him down; he gets up. Again and again and again. Kick his teeth in, throw him in prison, harass his family, take everything he has... and he gets back up.
I don't know how he does it.

This is not a book for the English language purist. Tommy is a working class guy from Luton and while he writes better English than he speaks, but it's Tommy's voice you hear as you read. If you want Hemingway, go read Hemingway.
But don't make the mistake of thinking he's stupid because he has a Luton accent. Tommy makes some subtle points about Islam, politics, and social issues that need to be discussed.

I was surprised when I finished the book, partly because Tommy was smarter than I thought before reading it, (and I'd figured him intelligent before), but mostly because I'd read it so quickly.
This is an enjoyable book, a bloody good read, written with anger and humour and a feeling of helplessness in the face of power. Tommy stands up to all those who would have, or who would ignore or assist, the Islamisation of the West. And he pays the price every day with constant surveillance, threats of violence, and the guilt he feels for putting his family through some tough times.

I knew much of Tommy's story before reading Enemy Of The State because I'd watched so many youtube videos of him. The videos get his message across but don't tell you why he speaks up or the price he's had to pay for standing up to Islam.

This book is necessary reading for anyone who wants to keep Western culture alive. And if you think that's hyperbole, then you really need to read Enemy Of The State to see that your comfortable Western lifestyle is under attack by a violent and repressive religion, which is supported by confused or bribed politicians, police, and media.

Can a negative be disproven?

Yes. Science does this all the time.

Hypothesis; "Gravity is demons holding us down from soaring with the angels."
This hypothesis can be disproven by the complete lack of evidence in demons and angels, and the scientific evidence we have to show that gravity is not a supernatural phenomenon.

Why then do even some atheists believe that god cannot be disproven with the same method?
There is a complete lack of evidence for god, and undeniable scientific evidence to counter the claims of religious supernatural phenomena.

Thunder is not Thor and his hammer. Lightning is not Zeus casting his bolts from Olympus. These gods are accepted as disproven deities and mere mythology.

Why then is the Abrahamic god given special consideration and allowed to be considered above disproval... above mythology? Because it is a current religion and even the brightest and most reasonable people sometimes allow the social prevalence of religion to sway our reasoning minds.

After all, we're only human.

My self eulogy to be read at my funeral

I wish I could say some of you touched me.
You didn't.
We never actually touch anything; the electrons in our atoms repel things which get too close. We feel the energy of the electrons repelling things but we never actually feel... the things.
Our clothes, a hand, a punch... we feel only energy.

Nothing matters.

The Milky Way galaxy is made up of between 100 billion and 400 billion stars. We estimate there are between 100 billion and 200 billion galaxies.
Using the low end of these numbers, if just one planet in each galaxy... just one... of 100 billion stars contained life, there would be 100 billion planets that harbour life.
We are not alone. We are not the only life in the universe, not the only consciousness, and not the only lives that search for truth.

Nothing matters.

We are, each of us, unique bundles of energy on what Carl Sagan called "a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam." This mote of dust is home to uncounted energy beings, from trees, ants, tardigrades, and water. Even the Earth itself is made of energy.
And there are 100 billion planets of uncounted energy beings.

Nothing matters.

Now, pay attention... here's the tricky bit.
If nothing matters... if we are not unique in simply being alive and we can't even touch each other, then how we treat each other is the most important thing any of us can do.
Why? Because if all we have is free will... if we can possess nothing and life is not unique to Earth... if nothing matters... then our only benchmark for morality is what we do with our free will.

So clasp the energy of the hand of the person beside you. Share your energy. It will feel good for a while but you must understand it is only energy you feel. It doesn't matter.
To truly and honestly matter to anyone or any thing... to touch the only way we can touch... the only way any of you touched me or touched anything...
Be kind.
Be gentle.

Fear Not

SJWs, religions, 3rd wave feminists, and the regressive left are too frightened of dealing with their own issues to do so, therefore they expect the rest of us to change society to fit their fears.
This is precisely what we must not do.
To live in fear... to merely react to any uncomfortable change with denial and obstruction is to stagnate the evolution of the human race, or at the very least to change our evolutionary course to one of mere survival, as opposed to one striving for growth and greatness.
We must act in the best interests of future generations and choose the wisest course for humanity.
The fearful are a mostly harmless minority that have always been present in the human tribe. They are successful only because their agenda is censorship in the guise of fairness and that censorship happens to fit very well within the one percent's plans for society. The fearful get massive coverage on the news and politicians quote them and enact laws for them.
Look at the difficulty Bernie Sanders has in getting air time with his proven, reasonable ideas, compared to the air time the fearmongering Donald Trump gets.
Bernie unites; Trump divides.
Any group that fits the one percent's plan gets plenty of media air time.
Want some air time? Simply shout your message that, "Nothing should be allowed that hurts my feelings!"
What a great message for the one percent!
"Sorry, your rights make these people afraid, so we're going to have to take them away."

We are cowards

The trouble with humanity is cowardice. We are cowards. We knowingly do wrong or witness wrong without acting and rationalise it afterwards.

We are afraid of death, so we accept religions which promise eternal life. Religions offer many ways to erase the guilt of doing wrong, especially when the wrong helps the religion flourish.

We see wrong being done and do not speak up. We walk by and think, "I have a family," or, "It's none of my business."
It is your business. If you don't speak up for other's rights, you will lose your own rights.
And would you want your children to know you saw something wrong and did nothing, or that you saw something wrong and helped?
What lessons will you teach your children?

When you see wrong being done to someone, speak up. Act. Get help.
Because wrongness is growing. It is being spread by religions, by special interest groups, and it is not being resisted by the only force capable of stopping it, which is not governments, churches, or businesses... it is you and I, the people who witness wrongs and turn our backs.

Because we are cowards.

Not even because it's what you were taught to do.

Never be a spectator of unfairness or cruelty for the simple reason of being the person you want to be and loving yourself.

If you see someone being bullied, you can step in and feel good about yourself or ignore it and feel guilty.

I learned so much from watching him on you tube and reading his words.
As Dawkins said, "He just knew so much!"
Dawkins and Dennet and Harris and Hirsi Ali and many others inspire me... but it was Hitch who stood up to religious abuses so readily, so confidently, so knowledgeably, and so full of disdain for lies that showed me we were not only allowed to speak against religious power, but that it was our duty.

For 2000 years, people who desparately need proof of God as evidence they will live on after death have been unable to prove God exists. The most motivated people in the history of humanity have found no evidence for 2000 years!
The best they can come up with is, "Someone told me God exists and I believe he exists."
Or, "Flowers are pretty, so God exists."
Or, "We see nature's patterns, so God did it."
Or, "I have an old book..."

I don't have to prove God doesn't exist. I have no burning desire to try to disprove an invisible fiction that does nothing and cannot be sensed in any manner.
There is no valid evidence to refute.
There is nothing to debate.
It is obvious to any reasonable and thinking person that all gods are man made.

You are correct. I can't prove God doesn't exist.
But you are wrong, and probably quite stupid, if you think that proves your god does exist.

Christians usurped the pagan holiday of Yule but endlessly whine about an attack on Christianity whenever someone says, "Happy holidays."
This is the hypocritical nature of Christianity. This is nothing new. The Romans wrote about the same manner of Christianity that we see today... forever whining about their rights while they deny those same rights to all others.
It is the thief asking for help from the police to regain the bicycle he stole.

Peace by fear

The Quran is the Middle East version of The Art Of War put into unmerciful practice. It is a how-to book for ruthless people to use ignorant people to terrorise.
Islam is not about peace. It is about worldwide religious domination.

The Art Of War and the Quran both state that if followed, peace by ruthless laws and unquestioning obedience will be the end result.

Peace by fear is not peace.

Intolerant

Religious tolerance is the act of letting others say or do things in the name of their god that are bad for humanity, in order to avoid being called intolerant.

I am intolerant to religions and I accept my religious intolerance with pride. History has shown us that tolerance does not work with religions.
Once you claim religious intolerance as your own, you can no longer be socially blackmailed by the word.
I have been called every name in the book by religious people who would censor me rather than discuss the validity of gods.
I have been blocked, banned, shunned, threatened in this life and the supposed next, but I refuse to give an inch.

Give a religion an inch and it will claim to be a ruler.

We must speak out against religions. To do this we must have free speech.
Surely you see that you are called intolerant to silence you, to curtail your free speech? You are being censored with guilt.
That is something I will never allow. I have lost friends, family, and love by speaking freely against religion.
I regret the losses but would do it again. Freedom to speak openly about anything is the most important freedom we have.

So, call me intolerant. That's your free speech. But know that I too have the right to free speech.

Religions attack free speech; atheists defend it.

Atheism is not blasphemy

Blasphemy laws punish not other religions, but the non religious. Such laws are an attack on the most persecuted group in history; the atheists.
Blasphemy laws are intended to silence any criticism of gods, but mostly the Abrahamic god.
It is legalised bullying of atheism. It is an attempt to continue to persecute and silence atheists using a secular legal system.

As Saudi Arabia now heads (ridiculously) the UN Human Rights Council, blasphemy laws are much more likely to be enacted.
Many countries are cowardly and silently accepting the bullying and brutalising of their citizens by Islamic hate groups.
How far away are blasphemy laws? How soon before free speech starts to pay a price? When will atheist books start to be burned by blasphemy laws that deem them against the will of god?

Every crime in the name of religion that goes unpunished is an encouragement to commit another.
Every pedophile priest that is unpunished, every rape allowed by the Quran, every beheading, every lashing, every stoning, every genital mutilation, will be committed without complaint because it will be blasphemy to talk against religious crime.
How long until science must agree with religion or be called blasphemy?

If you consider this hyperbolic, look at the history of Abrahamic religions in power.
